📍 Kigali, Rwanda, Serving Families
Trauma-informed. Faith-grounded. Community-rooted.
Emmaus Family Center equips, strengthens, and accompanies families across Rwanda — one healing journey at a time.

"Heal the individual. Strengthen the family. Transform the community."
Who We Are
At Emmaus Family Center, we believe that when families heal, communities transform — and nations thrive.
We are a Christian family center operating at the intersection of psychoeducation, trauma-informed care, and community resilience. Our work begins where families are most fragile — in the aftermath of trauma, violence, conflict, and grief — and walks with them toward lasting wholeness.
We don't offer quick fixes. We offer accompaniment.
What We Are Not
What We Offer
EFC is not a clinic. We do not offer psychiatric care, prescribe medication, or operate as a medical facility. What we offer is accessible and profoundly effective:
We refer anyone requiring clinical psychiatric or medical support to appropriate registered professionals and facilities.
"Psychoeducation, Not Prescription. Accompaniment, Not Diagnosis."
Ministry of Health Compliant
