Vision 2031:
Faith in Action.

Healing Families. Transforming Communities.

By 2031, Emmaus Family Center will be Rwanda's leading center of excellence for family wellness and psychoeducation — operating a self-sustaining Retreat and Training Center, serving 15,000+ families, and influencing systems across East Africa.

This is not a wish. It is a plan.

The Strategy

Four Pillars.
One Movement.

Each pillar is a distinct strategy. Together, they form an integrated vision for family wholeness across Rwanda and East Africa.

01

Pillar 01

Family Strengthening

"When families heal, nations thrive."

Through IMIZI MYIZA and Still, I Choose You, EFC equips 120+ family units per year with the relational skills to build enduring, emotionally healthy households.

2031 Goals

  • 40% improvement in relationship satisfaction by 2031
  • 30% reduction in reported domestic conflict among graduates
  • 120+ family units equipped annually
02

Pillar 02

Psychoeducation & Emotional Wellbeing

"Proactive care prevents crises."

Through peer support, corporate wellness partnerships, and the IMIZI Family Podcast, EFC will become Rwanda's leading psychoeducation provider — serving 200+ institutions and reaching families across the region through digital content.

2031 Goals

  • 200+ institutions served with psychoeducation training
  • IMIZI Family Podcast launched and reaching families nationally
  • EFC recognized as Rwanda's leading family wellness provider
03

Pillar 03

Community Outreach — BAHO

"Restoring childhood through healing families."

By 2031: 600 street-connected children reintegrated, 360 community support volunteers trained, and the Baho model adopted by 3+ districts as a replicable framework for the nation.

2031 Goals

  • 600 street-connected children reintegrated
  • 360 IZU community support volunteers trained
  • Baho model adopted by 3+ districts
  • 70% reduction in trauma responses for Baho children
  • 75% sustained family reintegration at 12-month follow-up

Pillar 04

Infrastructure & Sustainability

"Building for legacy."

A purpose-built Retreat and Training Center within 30km of Kigali — generating income through residential retreats, professional training, and conference hosting, while remaining a center of healing for the most vulnerable.

2031 Goals

  • Purpose-built Retreat & Training Center completed
  • Self-sustaining operations through earned income
  • Accredited practitioner training programs running

We Are Not
Building Alone.
